TRUCKSTAFF ELD Replacement Deadline Is August 23, 2026

FMCSA removed TRUCKSTAFF ELD from its registered-device list. Affected carriers must replace the device with a compliant registered ELD before August 23, 2026.

What Changed: FMCSA revoked TRUCKSTAFF ELD, Model TRKSF, ELD Identifier TRS227, because the device did not meet the agency's minimum ELD requirements. Current Status: Affected carriers and drivers should discontinue using the revoked ELD, use paper logs or logging software during the permitted transition period, and replace the device before August 23, 2026. Continued use on or after August 23 may be treated as operating without an ELD and may result in citations and an out-of-service action.

What Drivers / Owner-Operators Should Do Now
